I’m a third year phd student of linguistics and a young researcher at the Center for Experimental, Formal and Theoretical Linguistics at the University of Nova Gorica.

Currently I am a visiting scholar at the University of Connecticut.

I got my BA and MA in Italian language and literature and Russian studies at University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.

My main research interests are in generative syntax, morphology and language acquisition. I am mainly working on Slavic and Romance languages. I am a part of the project The behavior of Czech and Slovene clitics at CEFT.

I am also a founder of Grammelot – an online language school, where I teach Italian, Russian and Slovene languages. You are very welcome to join any of the classes!

When I am not researching or teaching, I enjoy playing squash, waking up at 4AM to hike the Alps (as probably most of the Slovenians) and explore around the Earth. I struggle with the X-box thingy, but firmly believe that perseverance and good will is the key for everything.
